About Emma Grace
Hey! I am a junior Civil Engineering student with a strong interest in problem-solving, learning, and helping others succeed academically. Through my studies, I have developed a solid foundation in mathematics and analytical thinking. I have also gained valuable real-world experience through an internship with an engineering firm, where I have had the opportunity to see how engineering concepts are applied in professional settings. This experience has strengthened my understanding of the field and reinforced my passion for engineering.
Outside of academics and professional development, I enjoy spending my free time outdoors, whether that’s exploring nature, staying active, or simply enjoying time outside. My faith is also an important part of my life, and I regularly spend time involved in my church community. These experiences help keep me grounded and provide balance alongside my academic and professional goals.

My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, working through problems, and building confidence in their abilities.
I believe that every student learns differently, so I strive to adapt my teaching style to fit each student’s individual needs. Whether it is reviewing homework, preparing for exams, or reinforcing foundational math concepts, I focus on breaking down complex problems into clear, manageable steps. By emphasizing understanding rather than memorization, I help students develop problem-solving skills that can benefit them long term.
As a Civil Engineering student, I regularly apply mathematics to real-world situations, which allows me to show students how the concepts they are learning are used outside the classroom. This perspective can make difficult topics more engaging and easier to grasp.
Above all, I want students to feel encouraged and capable in their academic journey. My goal is not only to help them improve their performance in math but also to help them develop a sense of confidence and enjoyment in their education.
