About Tara

Hello! I’m Tara and I’m thrilled to be an ESL teacher. My journey with languages began years ago when I started learning Japanese and I quickly realized how powerful and exciting it is to communicate across cultures. This sparked my passion for teaching English to others, which led me to earn my TEFL certification overseas in the Czech Republic!

About the lesson

Hi there! I'm Tara a passionate and dedicated TEFL-certified ESL teacher with 6 years of experience helping students of all ages and backgrounds improve their English skills. My teaching approach is rooted in creating a supportive and engaging environment where students feel comfortable to learn and grow. I believe in the power of personalized lessons that cater to individual needs and learning styles, making each session enjoyable and effective.

Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your fluency, I use a variety of creative techniques—such as interactive activities, real-world conversation practice, and multimedia resources—to keep lessons dynamic and engaging. I’m committed to making learning English fun, practical, and accessible, while also helping my students build confidence in their language abilities.

I worked with Tara as a ESL teacher in the Czech Republic; she has such a direct one on one approach that students found so easing! The atmosphere is always comforting! I would not hesitate to book with her or book your child with her :-)
