Hi! I’m Ranjita, a UTP student who loves teaching English. I’ve tutored SPM students, helping them with essays, grammar, and exam tips. I want to teach because I believe English isn’t just about passing exams — it’s a skill that builds confidence and opens doors for the future. About the lesson

My Experience as an English Tutor for SPM Students I’ve taught SPM-level English to secondary school students, helping them strengthen not just their grammar and vocabulary, but also their confidence in using the language. My tutoring covered key areas such as: • Essay Writing & Continuous Writing → guiding students to structure essays effectively, expand their ideas, and improve coherence. • Comprehension & Summary Skills → breaking down passages step by step so students can identify main ideas quickly. • Grammar & Sentence Construction → simplifying rules and providing practice so students can write fluently and accurately. • Speaking & Oral Exams → building confidence through conversational practice, role-play, and presentation skills. My Teaching Style • I explain concepts in a simple and relatable way, making sure students actually understand instead of memorizing. • I use practical tips and exam techniques (like how to analyze questions, manage time, and avoid common mistakes). • I believe in a supportive and motivating environment many of my students started with low confidence but ended up enjoying English more.
