About Ilana
Recently graduated with a degree in Economics and a Master's degree in Brand and Communication Management at Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne, I joined the company in which I did my work-study program, as a marketing project manager in the music sector. Throughout my schooling, I gave lessons (mainly in economics and English) to college/high school students. I also made some interventions in bachelor and master classes at my university on the subject of event production.
I have always loved teaching and today I want to offer tutoring to young people in middle school/high school.

As an international marketing project manager, I speak English on a daily basis with people from all over the world. I now offer tutoring in English to primary, middle and high school students. I will adapt my pedagogy and the methods used according to the student, his needs and his way of approaching the course.
In the case of homework help, for example, I will suggest that he/she reread his/her course so that he/she can first ask me any questions. Then, I will ask him/her to explain to me in his/her own words what he/she has understood and then I will invite him/her to carry out the exercise on his/her own, of course being present in case of questions. Then we would resume the exercise in order to take up any errors to correct them together.
In the case of global support, I will also suggest that the student first resume the course on his own, then we will link him together in order to go over each point one by one in detail to be sure that the together is well understood. Then I will propose certain adapted exercises (re-explain with his own words, quizzes, playful exercises / role-playing, etc.).
