About João
I have been a composition teacher since 2015, teaching private lessons and private conservatories. My classes aim to develop the autonomous process in musical creation. For this I will make available to the students several tools that they can use in their compositions. Among these tools are: analysis of musical works with audio and score, recognition of processes and techniques of composition in works of several composers and practical exercises in composition and orchestration. The classes are individual and are aimed at people of any age who have basic knowledge of music. It is possible to go to the students' homes in the Lisbon area.

My name is João Costa, I am 24 years old and graduated in Composition from the Superior School of Music of Lisbon. My intention is to value and motivate the students, giving them tools to leverage all their skills in the compositional creative process. In addition, I can help in the preparation with the necessary requirements for entrance in the Superior Course of Music - Composition Branch as Analysis and Musical Theory, Orchestration, Composition Techniques, etc.
