About Nickil
Imperial College London Chemistry Masters graduate. I tutor in Chemistry for KS3, GCSE and A level examinations, as well as Physics, Biology and Mathematics to a KS3 level. I am a graduate from Imperial College London (Masters in Catalysis and Chemical Engineering), and also a graduate of the University of East Anglia with a BSc in Chemistry. I have worked in the chemicals industry for a number of years and I am currently finishing off my PhD in engineering. Secondary School education at the Haberdashers' Aske's Boys' School. I have worked with children from the ages of 4-16 at children's camps. This has given me the optimal skills to engage with a wide range of ages and how to keep a child's interest at the forefront of education. I understand what it is like to struggle in a subject and have people tell you, you are not good enough. I believe patience and perseverance are the two best attributes when teaching and learning at any level. University : -University of Warwick - Doctorate of philosophy in engineering (PhD) - Imperial College London - Masters in Chemical Engineering (MRes) - University of East Anglia - Chemistry (BSc Hons.)

During our time at university Nickil and I worked in the same research group, although we worked on projects individually, Nickil’s consistent positive energy and thirst for learning and sharing his knowledge not only made the experience an enjoyable one but helped create a sense of comradery within the group. He went above and beyond to help you when you needed it and often provided such insight into his research that you could actively see his interest and passion for chemistry. His attitude toward work was phenomenal, he was a dedicated student who managed to balance an active social life, much of which was spent leading the Archery Society at UEA and volunteering as a first aider, with the demands of a chemistry degree. Throughout the year I worked with him, he shared his insight into chemistry, biology and subjects ranging from cooking to what films to watch; he is a great conversationalist that makes learning from him effortless.
In the time that I knew Nickil at university, I saw him as a very motivated and diligent individual. He was zealous in meeting deadlines for assignments, yet also active and social. A good example of his organisation skills would be that he was the president of the archery society in his previous university, in addition to being a member of a number of other societies.
He is naturally very easy to get along with and makes a good tutor by presenting the material in a straightforward way. During our final year projects we were both working in the same lab, and I would frequently ask him to explain concepts that I found difficult to understand.See more recommendations
