About Mannat

Hi! I'm an English tutor with a strong background in both ICSE (10TH) and CBSE (12TH), and I've worked as an assistant teacher at a local IGCSE school, where I taught primary and 1st-grade students across various subjects. I've also tutored my younger brother, my experience as a student during the COVID era gave me insight into what makes online classes effective and engaging. I make sure my students enjoy and never feel overwhelmed. I have taken part in creative writing competitions and contributed to my school's magazine, so I bring creativity and real-world skills into every class. I'm passionate about teaching and always ready to go the extra mile for my students. With me, English becomes something to look forward to!

About the lesson

I believe that when a teacher truly loves what they're teaching, the student feels it too- and that's exactly what I bring to every class. English has always been my comfort zone, and my goal is to make it feel that way for my students too. I don't follow a boring one-size-fits-all pattern. Every student learns differently and I adapt my teaching based on their pace, interests, and needs. What my class looks like: Warm up with a fun activity (word games) A core concepts explanation with examples (interactive) Practice time (guided exercises, discussions) A mini review + feedback to boost confidence Open Q&A or extra help if needed. Optional assignments or reading to keep the spark alive. Special Features: Always open to taking extra time or classes. I use examples from books, movies, and real life to explain concepts. I encourage creativity through small writing prompts or story-building I create a friendly non-judgmental space where students feel comfortable making mistakes and growing from them I celebrate small wins because confidence is the key to learning By the end of our class, my hope is that you won't just learn English - you will love it. Because I genuinely care, I'll make sure you feel seen, supported, and proud of your progress.
