About Hemish
I am a York University Science Scholar and recipient of the International Presidential Scholarship of Excellence, pursuing an Honors B.Sc. in Physics with a minor in Computer Science. Alongside my research experience in Quantum and Atomic physics, I have been tutoring Physics, Math, and Chemistry for students from Class 6 to 12, through both private lessons and free community-based teaching at Bright Path Tutoring. My approach combines academic rigor with empathy, ensuring concepts are explained clearly, practiced through structured examples, and reinforced with personalized study plans. As Ex-President of the Physics Society at York and Prev Undergraduate Chair of the Canadian Association of Physicists’ Student Council, I bring leadership, communication, and mentoring experience that inspire confidence in every learner. I personally scored 5/5 on both the Physics AP C Exams and the Math Calc BC Advanced Placement exams.

A typical class begins with a quick diagnostic review, followed by a step-by-step explanation of key concepts, worked examples, and targeted practice problems. I emphasize active recall, problem-solving drills, and exam-style strategies to help students master both fundamentals and board-level questions. What sets me apart is my blend of paid and volunteer tutoring experience: I have taught students from diverse backgrounds, including free lessons for underprivileged learners. My lessons are bilingual (English, Hindi, Punjabi) when needed, and tailored to each student’s pace, ensuring measurable progress and lasting understanding in Physics, Math, and Chemistry.
