About Ornella Lys

I am an all-year honour-roll student because I love math and french that much! I believe in all the students I teach and won’t hesitate in giving you extra studying tips and tricks to make math and french more bearable for you (trust me, I did not like these subjects either)! I also respect different approaches to learning certain topics since we are obviously all different!

About the lesson

I use real life examples when teaching to help the tutee understand the topic better and profound their learning process for other topics. I am also a native french speaker that can give more insightful tips on oral pronunciation and comprehension.

A typical session would consist of exchanges between the tutee and I outside of academics to get them comfortable, a review on what they have learned earlier in class, completion of a few questions on their own and correction together, and finally some fun exercises on the next topic to be learned to get an advance for their next class.

I am a very interactive and dynamic tutor that can adjust to the tutee’s liking to obtain consistent engagement in our sessions. These lessons are for anyone from grade 7 to 10.
