About Eden
I am an eleventh grade student at Laurenhill Academy. I have been tutoring since I was in 8th grade and have tutored 15 or so students ( excluding classmates ). The students I tutor see results within 1-2 sessions and have all significantly raised their grades. I have brought students up from Cs to B+ and As.
I have always been at the top of my year in math and science ( averaging around 90 - 97). Ihave previously tutored others in these subjects. I have an aptitude for transmitting my knowledge to others and am very patient as well as motivating while doing so. People come to me because I am responsible, organized, creative and I know my stuff!

My teaching methods are focused on finding strategies to improve inaptitudes as well as learning how to better the individual’s strengths.
I am very keen on using different techniques because every person is unique. Whether it be through using interesting anecdotes to bring my point across or creating varied mnemonic devices to ensure information retention, I will always come up with the best method to help the student.
Additionally, I like to emphasize the optimistic approach. This approach focuses on highlighting the student’s effort and strengths all the while encouraging them to continue working on their shortcomings.
I feel revision and repetition is the best way of working when combined with the understanding of the matter. In my mind, robotic work gets you nowhere. It’s imperative that one understands what is being taught , not just do.
