About Surasree
I finished my schooling up to madhyamik from Ramakrishna Sarada Mission Sister Nivedita Girls' School, Kolkata with more than 90 percent and then the higher secondary from Bethune Collegiate School, Kolkata with more than 86 percent.
Having completed my graduation in Physics from St. Xavier's College, Kolkata in 2007, I finished M.Sc in Physics from Presidency College, Kolkata in 2009 under the University of Calcutta.
My doctorate in theoretical physics was completed in 2015 from Variable Energy Cyclotron Centre, Kolkata under the Department of Atomic Energy, Govt. of India. Followed by my doctorate, I have been pursuing various postdoctoral research works starting from University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics, IIT Roorkee, IIT Gandhinagar, IISER, Berhampur etc.
I have vivid experience in teaching undergraduate and training students for research.
As a teacher my principal focus is to make a reconciliation between physics and mathematics so that it would become easier for the students to connect the language of mathematics to the actual laws describing the nature. This would
create a comfortable communication between the students and me as a teacher.
I will mostly encourage interactive exchange between students and I.

I will use interactive method as well as slides for teaching. I will also provide proper course oriented study material for exam purpose.
I think I can make difficult things easier while teaching. I have had that feedback while teaching in IISER.
