About Joshua
For me, history is a hugely important field of study for understanding the world as it exists today and for acquiring with the analytical skills needed to begin addressing contemporary issues. I believe that it can be accessible to every young person despite any difficulties previously experienced with the subject, provided they have the motivation and help needed to engage with historical study. I hope to pass on some of the knowledge and skills I have gained during my years of studying this discipline to others who may benefit from it.

I offer interactive and personalised sessions catering to the needs of the individual student where they are able to study the topics they find more difficult in greater depth than is possible in the traditional classroom setting. I am also able to give individualised coaching on essay-writing tailored to the requirements of specific exam boards. I am about to enter my final year of a History and Politics BA having achieved high marks in my first two years of study and have previously gained a History A-Level qualification before commencing my undergraduate studies.
