About Larissa
I became a teacher because I myself have two learning disabilities and can relate to the students that struggle with learning.
As a special education teacher I ensure there are clear goals set, lessons are planned and aligned to goals and work is differentiated to meet the students specific learning needs.
I also like to collaborate with the students teachers to ensure that the work I provide matches the learning that is occurring in the classroom.

I am a licensed elementary teacher originally from New York. I work as a special education during the school year and just completed my reading specialist certification. My mission is to ensure that every child succeeds and feels proud of their accomplishments. I have been a teacher for 11 years and have tutored children both in-person and online.
