About Amy
I have taught Art in London, Madrid and Glasgow and have taught in both private and state sector education. I have been Principal teacher of Art for 7 years & I manage a team of highly skilled art teachers in my current role.
I am responsible for designing the curriculum, creating processes for tracking and monitoring hundreds of pupils and I am involved with Arts education on Glasgow at a council level.
I get to know my students well & ensure that they are motivated and engaged by course content and that they enjoy their learning and walk away feeling empowered by new skills, tools and techniques.

I have been Principal Teacher of Art and Design for 7 years in secondary schools and have taught Art for 13 years. I can support with exam revision and portfolio preparation for National 4, 5, Higher and Advanced Higher Art and Design.
I can support with portfolio preparation for Art school and many of my pupils have gone on to secure entry in prestigious Art schools and colleges.
I am highly skilled in drawing, painting and illustration but I can also share design skills and am experienced in the use of various apps such as Sketchbook and Procreate.
I am passionate about my subject, caring, reliable and creative in my lesson planning and activities.
