About Debbie
I have been teaching adults and children art for many years - in further education, and adult learning centres , as well as for schools on visiting artist residencies. I have taught students who need one on one support with various projects, or who want to improve a particular skill such as oil painting, or for illustration purposes.

Through my many years of experience, I ve devised ways to break up techniques into accessible steps, provide stimulating exercises to practice, honed encouraging tips to motivate and stay focussed! As a practising artist, my ideas and skills have come from my own practice and self development, as well as degree studies and continuing practice. Im able to teach people of all ages and previous experience, and see there are no barriers to learning whatever their circumstances or current skill level.
I encourage some minutes of mindful breathing before sessions start so that students are separating themselves from their other daily activities.
