About Stanley
Hello! I am Stanley, a tutor based in Maryland, I have 3 years tutoring experience with good and accredited outcomes. I love social studies and have for a very long time, my goal is to not only help you succeed academically but hopefully instill a similar love and joy for this subject. My goal is not to force information down your throat or make you feel stupid, my goal is to help you succeed and develop essential skills in school and life.

I help tutor middle to high school students by connecting with them and helping them foster critical thinking and a genuine interest in social studies. I believe that too often education is a reactionary and regressive discipline that doesn't teach the student, but instead encourages mindlessness and pure memorization.
As a tutor I develop a personalized lesson plan by going over with the student which assignments they have, what they are struggling with, and building a plan from there.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my age and pricing, I am a high school student which makes it easier for me to connect with the student. I also am not trying to clean out anyone's pockets, I tutor because I enjoy teaching people about a subject I love dearly.
