About Maitri

Hi! I'm Maitri, a high school student who loves math, science, and helping others learn. I enjoy working with younger students and explaining difficult topics in a way that's easier to understand. I believe every student can succeed with the right support, patience, and practice. My goal is to create a friendly and positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, gaining confidence, and reaching their academic goals.

About the lesson

Hi! I'm Maitri, a high school student who loves working with kids and helping them build confidence in math and science. I know every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to match their pace and learning style.

My teaching style focuses on understanding concepts instead of simply memorizing steps. I want students to understand why something works, not just how to solve a problem. When students understand the reasoning behind what they're learning, they build stronger problem-solving skills and become more confident in the classroom.

In each lesson, we'll start by reviewing previous material, homework, or any topics that need extra practice. Then we'll work through new concepts using clear explanations, examples, and practice problems. I encourage students to ask questions, think through problems, and explore different ways to find the answer. If there's an upcoming quiz, test, or assignment, I'm happy to help them prepare and strengthen the skills they need to succeed.

I believe learning should be a positive experience where students feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions. My goal is to create a supportive environment where students gain confidence, improve their understanding, and enjoy learning.

I work with students in grades 3–6 who are looking for extra support, want to improve their grades, or simply want to feel more confident in math and science. I'd love to help your child reach their goals!
