Hi, I'm Purva, a dedicated mathematics educator with over 7 years of teaching and tutoring experience. I have helped students from diverse backgrounds develop a strong understanding of mathematics through clear explanations, personalized instruction, and a supportive learning environment.

I specialize in the Ontario high school curriculum, particularly Grade 11 Functions (MCR3U) and Grade 12 Advanced Functions (MHF4U). My goal is to make challenging concepts easier to understand while helping students build confidence and improve their academic performance.

I hold a Master of Technology in Computer Science and have additional postgraduate qualifications in Cybersecurity and Wireless Security from George Brown College. Alongside mathematics, I also teach computer science and STEM subjects, giving me a strong analytical and problem-solving approach that I bring into every lesson.

Hi! I'm Purva, a passionate math tutor dedicated to helping students build confidence and achieve success in Ontario high school mathematics. I specialize in Grade 11 Functions (MCR3U) and Grade 12 Advanced Functions (MHF4U), following the Ontario Curriculum.

My teaching approach is student-centered, supportive, and results-driven. I begin by assessing each student's current understanding, learning style, and academic goals. From there, I create personalized lessons that break down complex concepts into simple, manageable steps. I encourage students to ask questions, think critically, and develop strong problem-solving skills rather than simply memorizing formulas.

A typical lesson starts with a quick review of previous concepts, followed by a clear explanation of new topics using real-world examples and visual methods. We then solve guided practice questions together before moving on to independent problems to strengthen confidence. Each lesson ends with a summary of key ideas, exam tips, and optional practice questions for reinforcement.
