About Joel
Hi, my name is Joel Ortiz, but my student call me Mr. O! I’m passionate about helping students thrive both academically and personally. I offer engaging online biology tutoring that makes complex concepts clear and exciting, and I also teach a youth leadership course to equip and empower young people with essential skills for school and beyond.
When I’m not teaching, you can find me enjoying quality time with my family—I’m a devoted husband and a proud girl dad. I’m also an avid chess and pickleball player, always up for a strategic challenge or a fun game.
