About Caytee

I have tutored in high school and college for over 15 years. I am currently a high school Chemistry and AP Chemistry teacher. I've worked as a Chemist for the 3 years and now I am a high school science teacher in Powdersville. I have also tutored students in math up to Pre-calculus.

I am one of the biggest Chemistry nerds you will meet. I love the structure, the fun and exciting lab experiments, and figuring out how to balance chemical equations. I try to make Chemistry enjoyable and easy to understand based on the your learning style. No two students will learn the same way, so we will work together to figure out what is the best way for me to teach you.

About the lesson

Welcome to your personalized world of chemistry tutoring, where excellence in chemistry education meets personalized, one-on-one support. With over seven years of experience in teaching chemistry at the high school and AP chemistry, as well as five years of professional work in the field of chemistry, I dedicate my time to helping students master this fascinating subject.

**About Me:**
My name is Caytee, and I am passionate about chemistry and education. Holding a degree in chemistry, I bring a deep understanding of the subject matter coupled with years of hands-on teaching experience. I have honed my skills in breaking down complex concepts into digestible pieces, ensuring that students skillfully grasp the fundamental principles of chemistry.

**Services Offered:**
I offer comprehensive tutoring services tailored to the specific needs of each student. Whether you are struggling with balancing chemical equations, understanding organic chemistry reactions, or mastering rates of reactions, I am here to provide guidance and support.

My tutoring services cover the following:

1. High School Chemistry: From introductory chemistry concepts to advanced topics, I guide high school students to excel in their chemistry coursework.

2. AP Chemistry: Prepare for the AP Chemistry exam confidently through targeted instruction and practice sessions designed to reinforce key concepts and problem-solving strategies.

3. College-Level Chemistry: Whether you're pursuing a degree in chemistry or a related field, I offer support for college-level courses, including general chemistry, organic chemistry, and more.

**Teaching Approach:**
I believe in fostering a supportive learning environment where students feel empowered to ask questions and engage actively with the material.

My teaching approach emphasizes the following:

- Personalized Instruction: Every student has unique strengths and areas for improvement. I tailor my tutoring sessions to address each student's learning style and academic goals.
- Conceptual Understanding: I build a solid conceptual foundation rather than relying solely on memorization. Students develop deeper insights and problem-solving skills by understanding the "why" behind the chemistry principles.
- Practice and Application: Practice makes perfect. I provide ample opportunities for students to apply their knowledge through guided practice problems, simulations, and real-world examples.

**Additional Subjects:**
In addition to chemistry tutoring, I offer tutoring services for students in pre-algebra through pre-calculus. With a strong background in mathematics and years of experience tutoring high school-level math, I support students in building a solid foundation in mathematical concepts.

Are you ready to unlock your potential in chemistry? Schedule your first tutoring session. Together, we'll embark on a journey toward academic success and mastery of the fascinating world of chemistry.
