About Milla
I’ve always loved learning, especially math. I’ve competed in several math competitions and earned awards, and most recently I achieved the highest standing in Pre-Calculus with a final grade of 100%. I’m proud of these accomplishments, but what matters most to me is truly understanding the material and being able to explain it clearly to others.
Outside of academics, I love playing piano and staying active through sports. These interests have taught me discipline, consistency, and the importance of practice, skills that also apply to learning math. I’m outgoing, friendly, and genuinely enjoy working with people. I love helping someone move from “I don’t get this” to “Ohhh, now it makes sense!”
I come prepared, take my work seriously, and always aim to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and growing with confidence.

I have been tutoring and helping with explaining concepts in Math for 5 years, both online and in person. As a tutor, my approach is student-centered and growth-focused. I believe that strong understanding comes from mastering foundations first, then building complexity step by step. I focus on breaking down difficult concepts into clear, manageable parts and encouraging students to ask questions freely. I use active recall, practice problems, and real-life examples to make learning engaging and memorable.
A typical lesson begins with reviewing previous material, identifying gaps, and setting a clear objective for the session. We then work through guided examples together before moving to independent practice. I end each lesson with reflection and a short summary to reinforce key ideas.
What sets me apart is my patience, adaptability, and ability to explain concepts in multiple, personalized ways. As a student myself, I understand academic pressure and tailor lessons to fit each learner’s pace and goals.
My lessons are ideal for middle school and high school students, especially those preparing for exams, strengthening foundations, or aiming for academic improvement in subjects such as math and related fields.
