About Hannah
I am an experienced tutor with over 8 years of experience working with children of various ages and learning needs. I specialize in Algebra and Geometry for students in grades K–10. As a veterinary medicine student, I bring strong academic discipline, patience, and a structured approach to learning. My tutoring approach is centered around patience, adaptability, and helping students truly understand the “why” behind math concepts. I focus on building deep understanding rather than memorization so students can confidently apply what they learn in any problem situation. A typical lesson begins with reviewing prior material and identifying areas of confusion. From there, I introduce or revisit concepts by breaking them down step-by-step and explaining why each method works. We then move into guided practice together, followed by independent problem-solving to reinforce understanding and build confidence. I also teach strategies for recognizing patterns and approaching problems logically. What sets me apart is my 8+ years of experience working with children of various ages and learning needs, combined with my focus on conceptual understanding. As a veterinary medicine student, I bring patience, structure, and clarity into every session, and I adapt my teaching style to fit each student’s needs. My lessons are designed for students in grades K–10, covering foundational math, Algebra, Geometry, homework help, and test preparation. My goal is to help students not just get the right answer, but understand why it is right so they can apply their learning independently.
