About Charowy
I admit that I felt terrified the first time I had to sing in front of a real audience. My degree in music performance from Belmont University provided the rigorous training I needed to overcome that fear. I have spent 12 years of experience focusing on how the body creates sound.
Whether you are an intermediate learner or prepping for a high level grade exam, I understand the challenges you face. I specialize in belting technique, breathing control, and vocal health because those are the pillars of a sustainable career. I enjoy working with returning learners who want to reclaim their range.
It is truly rewarding to watch someone find their voice after years of silence. I am a lifelong student of the craft myself.

Strained throats and inconsistent breath support are common issues that we can resolve together with consistent, healthy guidance. Every new student begins our journey with a diagnostic vocal assessment to determine exactly where your natural range sits.
We spend our time exploring the mechanics of diction and articulation so that your lyrics land with clarity in any room. My approach leans on my 12 years of experience to make sure you understand the nuances of sight singing and complex vocal lines. I emphasize breathing control because it acts as the engine for your entire performance.
You will learn to navigate the difficult transition between your chest and head voice while maintaining complete vocal health and care. We examine your technique with the same care I learned during my time at Belmont University. I ensure that every exercise we perform serves a specific purpose in your development as a singer. You will gain the confidence to perform any piece you choose with total vocal freedom.
