About Alethea

I am 18 years old. I studied GCSEs at The Perse School and A-Levels at Uppingham School. I was in the Academic Scholar group at Uppingham and was offered an All-Round Scholarship to the Perse as a result of my attitude. I have consistently achieved in academics winning Silvers in both the Biology and Chemistry Challenges!

About the lesson

I feel the most important part of tutoring is trust. If the student trusts me then they open themselves completely to learning. I am someone who loves learning and teaching and I pride myself on that. I will adapt to whatever you need! As I have recently completed the courses at GCSE and A-level, the content is fresh in my mind and I know the syllabus and specification well. I believe in starting good habits such as making sure the student understands the content when it is first taught to them, asking questions if they don’t understand, revising well before the exams begin and repeating content to help it stick. Hopefully see you soon :)
