Super Tutor

Lana is one of our best ESL tutors. High-quality profile, qualifications verified, organised and responsive to lesson requests, and appreciated by their students.

About Lana

I hold a BA in Theoretical and Applied Linguistics, MA in English and Spanish as Foreign/Second Languages.
10 years of language teaching experience: I have worked in private language schools and companies, have taught one-on-one and group classes at all levels.
An experienced expat: have lived and worked in USA, Sweden, Russia, China and Spain.

About the lesson

If you have been taking English lessons for years and you still struggle with speaking English, stop learning it and start using it. Use the language as if it were your mother tongue and a communication tool, not an academic subject.

After having lived and worked in 5 countries, I can assure you you are not the only one who's struggling with English.
Studying more grammar, more idioms, more British or American slang are not going to help you express yourself fluently in English in an interview, presentation or informal chat.

Remember that any language is a tool for communication, and so any interaction is like a two-way street. I will help you use the language that you already know so that you can communicate efficiently with the whole world.

- for job interviews,
- for immigration, expats,
- to be able to use English in your travels,
- to talk, chat with foreign colleagues.

Svetlana me enseñó español explicándome la gramática y vocabulario en ruso, lo que fué una gran ventaja porque yo no sabía nada de español cuando empezaron sus clases y resultó mucho mas fácil, efectivo y rápido. Svetlana domina muy bien el idioma español y también las técnicas de aprendizaje.
