About Matt
My name is Matt and I’m a calisthenics coach based in Bondi. I’ve been practicing calisthenics for over 10 years and specialize in helping people build real, functional strength using only bodyweight training.
I started calisthenics after getting bored of traditional gym workouts and quickly fell in love with the challenge of mastering your own body. Since then, I’ve helped over 150 students improve their strength, learn skills like pull-ups, handstands and muscle-ups, and build confidence in their training.
What I enjoy most is seeing people realize they’re capable of much more than they think — whether that’s their first push-up or their first advanced skill.

I specialise in calisthenics training focused on building real strength, control and confidence using your own bodyweight. My approach is simple: master the basics, progress step by step, and train with purpose.
Each session is tailored to your current level, whether you’re a complete beginner or already training. We focus on key movements like pull-ups, dips, push-ups and core strength, while also working towards skills such as handstands, muscle-ups and front lever.
Sessions typically last 60 minutes and include a proper warm-up, structured strength work, skill practice and clear progress tracking so you always know where you're improving.
I’ve been practicing calisthenics for over 10 years and have helped 150+ students build strength and unlock skills at all ages.
My coaching is for anyone who wants to get stronger, move better and enjoy training — without relying on machines or traditional gym workouts.

Matt trained me for 6 months and took me from unfit and weak to the strongest I have ever been. We worked on pullups handstands and even unlocking my elbow lever which was quite hard.
He has extensive knowledge around calisthenics and bodyweight training.I trained with Matt for 12 weeks. My goal was to lose weight and get stronger, and he did just that. All of that only training with my bodyweight, great experience. I definitely recommend Matt, the Cali trainer.
I started with Matt when I had just 2 chin ups, I wanted to get into Calisthenics and thought unlocking a few pull ups would be it, but no. So far on the journey with Matt i have achieved 12 clean pull ups, mastering hand stands, 7 ring muscle ups and much more. Matt is a great coach with a lot of knowledge! Highly recommend having Matt as your coach. You will definitely improve quick and never want to stop!
Matt was such great help to get back in shape. I went to him after hurting my back at the gym and had to re build everything from scratch. I now have 5 pullups and 10 pushups, working on handstands and L-sit.
Great coach in BondiI have trained with Matt for 3 months and his level of knowledge is incredible. He taught me a lot about Calisthenics. He actually helped me unlock my muscle up and did lots of work on the handstand.
