About Leah

I am currently working in case management while offering tutoring in the evenings/ on weekends. I have tutored in public middle and high school settings, at the VCU campus learning center, and privately. The majority of my work experience both in tutoring and case management involves working with teens and I am comfortable working with students with a variety of needs and preferences. I have a flexible schedule and would be happy to find a good time after school to help start this school year strong.

About the lesson

I spend most of my time working one on one or in small groups with my students and can adjust lessons and teaching styles to meet the individual needs of each student. I am comfortable working with children with specific learning needs/accommodations. I typically tutor math up to geometry but can assist with other assignments such as proofreading an essay or basic spanish lessons.
