I’m easy to get along with and calm by nature. I am patient and consistent. If one teaching method doesn’t work for the student, we will try another way. Not everyone learns the same way or at the same pace, so patience and flexibility are keys to helping a student learn.

I’m very easy going, mistakes are how we learn. So we work together to do better. I start with sounds and match the appropriate letters to those sounds. From there sight words begin to take hold and reading becomes possible. I find that this method gives quicker gratification and motivates the student to want to learn more.
