About Leon
I am passionate about learning and understanding the world around us. Science and creative media are powerful tools in facilitating this understanding. It is my goal to share this passion with my students and inspire them to learn through their own passions and life experiences. I also believe that our most powerful learning experiences come through fun so my lessons will always incorporate this.

I take a personalised approach to learning where the students interests and passions are utilised in a practical sense as a vehicle to greater understanding of the material. Students will guide the lesson with the focus being on areas that need more attention.
I have Bachelor of Science (Conservation Biology) from Murdoch University and over 10 years experience working on environmental projects including programs that taught students through real world projects.
As a photographer I am a category winner in the ANZANG Nature Photographer of the Year Award and have been published in Australian Geographic and Mammals of Australia.
I am able to tutor in science, math's and beginner photography as well as conservation biology related fields (statistics, ecology, animal biology etc.)
