About Thejaswini

I am a certified Hatha Yoga teacher with a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training certification from Rishikesh, India, the birthplace of yoga. Yoga has been an integral part of my life for many years, and what began as a personal practice gradually evolved into a passion for sharing its transformative benefits with others.

Alongside my yoga training, I hold a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology and have extensive experience working with students and professionals in the areas of emotional well-being, stress management, and personal growth. My approach to teaching is gentle, mindful, and holistic, recognizing that physical health and mental well-being are deeply interconnected.

At the heart of my teaching lies the breath. Breath is our constant companion and the very thing that keeps us alive. By learning to breathe consciously and move with awareness, we can cultivate strength, calmness, and a deeper connection with ourselves. My intention is to create a welcoming and non-judgmental space where every individual can experience yoga not merely as exercise, but as a practice of presence, self-discovery, and inner balance.

My Hatha Yoga classes are designed to help you reconnect with your body, and cultivate a deeper awareness of your breath—the very force that sustains life. Through mindful movement, breathing, and moments of being in the present, we create a practice that nourishes both the body and mind.

Classes are suitable for beginners and intermediate practitioners. Sessions may include asanas (postures), pranayama (breathing techniques), relaxation practices, and gentle mindfulness. Whether your goal is to improve flexibility, manage stress, or simply find a sense of balance amidst a busy life, I aim to provide a safe and compassionate space for your journey.

Yoga is not about perfect poses but about cultivating presence, awareness, and a deeper connection with ourselves. Together, we will move, breathe, and grow at a pace that honors your body and experience.
