About Blessie Mae
I’m an Electronics Engineering student with a passion for technology, mathematics, communication, creativity, and leadership. My academic journey has allowed me to explore both the technical and creative sides of engineering, from programming and computer-aided design to journalism and visual storytelling.
On the technical side, I have experience with HTML, Python, C++, and AutoCAD, and I’m continuously developing my skills in electronics, programming, design, and problem-solving. I’ve also represented my school in regional and national Mathematics Olympiads, experiences that strengthened my analytical thinking, discipline, and ability to solve problems under pressure.
Beyond engineering, I have a strong background in writing and journalism, including editorial writing, feature writing, photojournalism, and editorial cartooning. I enjoy using both words and visuals to communicate ideas, tell stories, and give different perspectives a voice.
Leadership and service have also been an important part of my journey. I have served as an auditor of a regional organization, a school representative, and my school’s Vice President for External Affairs. I have also taken on roles as a class/section representative and organization representative, giving me opportunities to work with different people, coordinate activities, and represent the interests of my fellow students.
I see myself as someone who lives between technology and creativity—an engineer who enjoys writing, a problem-solver who appreciates art, and a student who believes leadership is ultimately about service.
I’m still learning, still building, and still discovering where these different skills can take me. But every experience—whether behind a computer, solving a mathematical problem, designing in AutoCAD, writing an article, taking a photograph, drawing a cartoon, or representing others—has become part of the person and professional I’m becoming.

Teaching Method and Techniques
My approach to tutoring focuses on understanding rather than memorization. I explain concepts in simple, practical terms and adjust my teaching style according to the student’s level, learning pace, and needs. I use step-by-step explanations, examples, practice problems, visual aids, and real-world applications to make difficult topics easier to understand. I also encourage students to ask questions and learn from mistakes without feeling pressured or judged.
Typical Lesson Plan
A typical lesson begins with a quick review of previous topics and an assessment of what the student already understands. I then introduce the new concept through a clear and easy-to-follow explanation, followed by examples and guided exercises. Once the student becomes comfortable, I let them solve problems independently while providing guidance when needed. Each lesson ends with a short review and practice tasks to reinforce what was learned.
What Sets Me Apart as a Tutor
What sets me apart is my combination of technical, mathematical, and communication skills. As an Electronics Engineering student and a former Mathematics Olympiad representative, I understand the importance of logical thinking and problem-solving. At the same time, my experience in writing, journalism, and leadership has helped me develop the ability to communicate ideas clearly and work with different kinds of learners. I aim to make students feel that even challenging subjects are something they can learn and eventually master.
Who the Lessons Are For
My lessons are suitable for students who want additional support, stronger foundations, or extra practice in mathematics, programming, basic computer skills, and other related technical subjects. I can work with beginners who are just starting out as well as students who want to improve their existing knowledge. My goal is to meet learners where they are and help them progress one step at a time.
