About Tom
Hi, my name is Tom, I am 32 years old. I started music at the age of 12. I got professionalized there at the age of 20 thanks to the Music Academy International of Nancy. I am a trained guitarist.
But I'm also an artist, on stage. Depending on the group, I happen to be either a guitarist, a bassist, or a singer.
These are the three instruments that I know how to teach.
I created my own music school in Franche Comté, I was able to develop my pedagogy there for 8 years. This pedagogy starts with the student. What do you want to play? From there, we will work on the keys to achieve it. My method is not the most classic, but it is paying off. We start with the pleasure of playing, which doesn't mean that I shun theory. We just progress "by layers" of the game, the theory, the game, a little music theory. And the theory "comes in" without turning it into a disease.

I have been teaching in a music school that I created for 8 years. With me, it all starts with the pleasure of playing. Music theory and harmony will find their place naturally afterwards.
Besides, to begin with, no need for any technical background, my lessons are suitable for the most beginners as well as for the more experienced. We start from the base. I prefer the "tablature" notation to that of the scores, but I adapt to both.
Finally, being myself an artist on stage, I will be able to give you the keys to play with other musicians and " leave the sheet ". Have the basics in improvisation, independence guitar / vocals etc ...
