About Malcolm
I've been a LA based guitar player and teacher for almost 40 years. I've been the lead guitar player in many festival and bar bands, including Dirty Pictures, the Bob Perry All Stars. I have comprehensive knowledge, a great deal of patience, and I very much enjoy teaching. I believe there is no greater joy in life than learning to play an instrument.

About the lesson

I teach from the beginning. Open chords: major, minor, sevenths. Then we move to bar chords. As we go, you learn songs with the knowledge you've aquired. After that, if the student wants to play lead, we move to scales, and modes.
