About Max

My name is Max, and I have been playing guitar, bass, piano, drums and singing for almost a decade, including writing and performing my own original music in a variety of different bands. After recently obtaining a Diploma in Music Performance, I have decided to pursue my ambitions in the education space to provide young people with the necessary tools to flourish as both performers and songwriters.

About the lesson

Providing welcoming, collaborative and customisable music lessons informed by the students ability, ambition and personal musical taste.

Sessions cover proper instrumental technique, music theory fundamentals, and eventually songwriting, improvisation and learning to perform with other musicians. Lessons are recommended for budding guitarists, but also able to cover bass, piano and vocal techniques.

Recommended for players at a beginner or intermediate level.

Max's response
Had a great first guitar lesson with Isabel and her son! Rodrigo was attentive, kind, and eager to learn and Isabel did a great job welcoming me into their home.

I’ve known Max for a while now and have played in a band with him for over a year. One of the kindest most genuine people you’ll ever meet and a fantastic guitar player on top of that! Would highly recommend as a teacher.

I have the privilege of being one of Max’s students over the past 5 years. Coming from more of an intermediate background with a sound knowledge of music theory, I feel my progression has advanced rapidly and have gained a much greater understanding of theory all thanks to Max’s informative and engaging teachings. He is a very friendly lad who is always supportive of my playing. I highly recommend this talented young man!
