Graduated with a degree in graphic design from Oakland University. Teaching at Cranbrook summer camps ages 7-13. Illustrates children’s books and graphic elements.

I have personally witnessed Sophie’s passion and dedication for teaching art. Her creativity and ability to connect with her students provide them with a safe space to learn and grow. As her mom, I love reading the thank you notes she receives from her students.

Sophie has done commission work for me, and even just communicating with her about my design needs I could tell she was patient and kind. I ended up asking her for additional branding and logo design tips and she was more than happy to work with me, couldn't ask for a better tutor!

Sophie visited my classroom for a day last year and taught my students a super engaging lesson about art careers and book illustration. She brought her own coloring sheets that she had designed for the kiddos to take home which I thought was a great touch. My students still ask me when Ms. Sophie is going to come back!

I’ve known Sophie for about 15 years, ever since we were in sixth grade, and I’ve had the opportunity to see both her artistic talent and her ability to teach others. She has helped me with so many art pieces. Whether it was painting a picture of my grandmother, to taking my engagement photos. She has an artistic eye like no other! She creates thoughtful gifts and beautiful thank-you cards, and every project has exceeded my expectations. She listens carefully to what I am looking for and brings your vision to life with incredible creativity and attention to detail.

As an elementary school teacher, I’ve also invited Sophie into my classroom to teach my students how to draw. She was patient, engaging, and made every student feel successful, regardless of their artistic ability. My students absolutely loved learning from her and were so proud of what they created.

Sophie is not only an incredibly talented artist but also a kind, encouraging, and dependable teacher. I would confidently recommend her to anyone looking to improve their artistic skills!
