About Denisa
Hi, my name is Denisa Denning. I have a background in English from a very young age, I grew up as an ESL student, and gradually with time, I appreciate the art of English whether it is in writing, speaking, or conversational English. English is perhaps one of the hardest languages I have ever learned, but that is why I absolutely find it amazing in that I can always challenge myself and my students with whatever tasks it is that we both the teacher and student should accomplish. I was an ESL substitute teacher for at least 2 years at a middle school so I do have full experience working in and outside of the classroom with different age ranges and or experiences with English. I want to work with whoever you are and whatever it is that you want to take away. I always tell my student's to never doubt their writing, reading, or comprehension in English because no matter what you can always expand you will never decrease in knowledge. Let me help you be who you are in an ever-evolving English-speaking world.

My teaching methods and techniques usually revolve around you (the student), I usually tend to focus on what level of English you know and what are your goals as a student, and what is it that you want to walk away with from our sessions. What sets me apart as a tutor is that I have enough experience to teach because I have taught before on an ESL platform, I have tutored peers that are native-speaking English students, and I myself was an ESL student at one point. Simply put I enjoy teaching and expanding the student's knowledge of what it is to be a good writer, speaking, and overall an English know it. My lessons are for everyone from Elementary writing/reading, all the way to college writing/reading. The best way to learn English is to speak it, live it and apply it and I will always stand by these three key components to better expand your English.
