About Andrea
After 8 years of experience as a language teacher, I have the pleasure to say that today I still enjoy my work and learning from my students. I have helped children and adolescents to catch up with English at a school level, in many cases helping to prevent school failure in a bilingual system, and I have also prepared them for the Cambridge official exams and Trinity College. In some cases I even had the pleasure of teaching English to parents of children at bilingual schools who wanted to help them with their homework. I have also been very successful in the business world, helping executives to be fluent in English or French to work in an international environment without getting overwhelmed. Similarly, I have taught Spanish to many foreign expatriates who needed to be competent in their jobs in Spain, with very good results.

I got my degree in Translation and Interpreting with English and French as first languages. I worked on my own as a tutor for 5 years, combining it with my studies, and I lived for a year in French-speaking Belgium (Wallonia). Later, back in Spain, although I have staying from time to time in London, I worked in Madrid in two prestigious language schools for four years, and I've also been a professor at cultural centers in Madrid. The profile of my students has been very varied, from three year olds to retirees eager to learn. However, my main field of expertise, has been the business world, since most of the time I have taught executives in large international companies. Currently, I combine my job as a freelance translator with my vocation for teaching languages in a bilingual school in the district of Conception, and private lessons in my free time.
