About Marietjie

I have obtained my honours degree in Software Engineering back in 2019 after I completed my thesis for the institute (NQF Level 8) and I am looking forward to doing my masters at UNISA.

I have 4-5 years of working experience in the software development industry. I have studied higher education to be able to assist high school students in IT (Delphi). Now I am working full time as a private tutor teaching anyone to program from scratch.

I am extremely good and patient in carrying information over to my students and I wish to become an inspiration and mentor them until they feel they do no longer need me and can become self proficient.

About the lesson

I make use of inquiry-based learning, teaching you to think critically and making double sure you understand the concepts and can apply them the correct way.

I teach the following languages and technologies:

C# CSharp
Java
Arduino
HTML for web design
Javascript for web design
CSS for design
PHP for web design
Database (MSSQL and MySQL)
Mobile development Android
Python and Data Science
IT extra classes for high school
Scratch for early development primary school

The students usually are from primary to high school to undergrads and even students who are completely new to programming who is not studying at an institute.
