About Stefano
I have a master's degree in Philosophical Sciences, with a specialisation in the History of Science and Technology. I have a natural predisposition to explain concepts and ideas: I have given lessons to friends and classmates, before giving lessons for a fee, and I have always received positive feedback.
As for the study of English, I took all the Cambridge exams from B2 to C2 and I achieved the last level in 2016, while I was attending the last year of scientific high school. Since then, I have continued to use and improve my knowledge of the English language, basing my university career on British philosophy, the philosophy of language and the history of science. Finally, I wrote my master's thesis in English.

Regarding History and Philosophy, the teaching that is often proposed is of the mnemonic type and leaves out the significant-integrative aspect of knowledge. Dates may be important, but without a cause-and-effect knowledge of historical changes, they will not, alone, teach the importance of events. Likewise, chances are that, if the philosophers' key ideas are not related to modern problems, they will not be introjected by the pupil. History and Philosophy must not be taught for their own sake, they must be able to explain something about the reality that surrounds us. The integration between the student's foreknowledge and the new cultural content, together with the problematisation of the contents taught, are key aspects of teaching History of Philosophy.
The History and Philosophy lessons are aimed at high school students.
