About Hannah
I am a current student at Thomas Jefferson University, obtaining my master's in Speech Language Pathology. I have worked in a daycare for several years and have plenty of experience creating lesson plans and activities to do! I am a patient, encouraging tutor who believes that learning works best when students feel supported and understood. My goal is to help you build confidence, not just in the material, but in yourself as a learner. I know what it’s like to feel stuck or unsure, so I focus on creating a positive, judgment-free space where questions are always welcome and progress is celebrated.

My tutoring approach focuses on individualized support and active learning. I start by understanding your child's learning style and current understanding to better assist in their progress. I focus on learning over memorization and use scaffolding techniques to build confidence and understanding. A typical tutoring session will include a warm-up/review, concept introduction, guided practice, independent practice, feedback, and a wrap-up. These lessons are designed for students K-8!
