About Sara
Hello, my name is Sara Maria! I am an undergraduate student at Newcastle University and I am currently studying biochemistry. I was born and raised in Dubai and I speak both Arabic and English fluently. I want to be able to help students in IB since I know what it was like to get advice from students who have already finished IB. I want to help students understand the content and learn the ways in which you should approach the IB exams. Learning how the exams work and not just the content will give a large advantage to IB students when it comes to studying and managing the exams.

My lessons will usually consist of slideshow presentations when first introducing the IB topic. If a student needs extra support with a known topic, I can provide them with alternate resources and ways to study and in-depth explanations. When the student understands the topics, we will go over past paper questions together and discuss the technique by which the student should answer the question to suit IB standards. The typical length of a lesson for one sub-part of a unit will take around 1 hour-1.5 hours. These lessons are aimed at any student that is looking to study IB or is studying IB. I got a Bilingual Diploma in IB 1 year ago and got exceptional grades in all my classes. My higher-level classes are chemistry, biology, and English Lang + Lit, while my standard-level are business, Arabic Lang + Lit, and maths AI.
