About Del
I am Del Saldanha, a medical laboratory scientist who works with cancer biopsies daily. I spend a lot of time analyzing cancer tissues under the microscope. I graduated from AUT with a Bachelor's of Medical Laboratory Science (majoring in molecular diagnostics (genetics) and immunology). During my course at university, I learned a heck of a lot about how our body and the science behind some things work. At university, I learned biochemistry, microbiology, histology, cytology, hematology, and transfusion science. Among all these subjects, I have mastered genetics and immunology :) I am confident that I can help you with your doubts and that I can make learning fun! I would like to tutor you since I am patient, have a passion for teaching, and would love to make a difference in your life in terms of your understanding and learning. I was a student not too long ago, and I do understand the struggles of being one! So I promise to be as helpful as I can for you and your future!

I am flexible and can change my method of teaching according to your needs. The typical length of my lesson would be 1-2 hours based on the topic we will cover. I am flexible with time in the evenings after 6:30 PM NZST since I work as a medical scientist during the day! My class can go as long or short as you like! I am a medical laboratory scientist working with cancer biopsies daily, hence I have immense knowledge of how the human body works. In terms of my tutoring experience: as a student, I used to help my classmates with topics that they struggled with, and I have also helped a few high school students with their biology and chemistry papers during their NCEA exams here in New Zealand. My lessons would be great for students attending school and potentially university-level students as well! I am keen to share my knowledge and help you understand more about science and also help you with your studies!

Perfect! I am a recent graduate of medical laboratory science. I approached Del for interview preparation. She is professional and patient. We went through high-yield interview questions. She also made time for an extra session to do practice interview with me one day before my interview. I eventually got the job offer. I really appreciate her help. I would highly recommend Del!
