About Elisa
A little more about me. I am Elisa, 17 years old. I currently still live in Eindhoven but will study in Leiden in September. Here I will start studying bio-pharmaceutical sciences (mainly chemistry in the form of drug development). In my spare time I like to do something or do sports with friends.
I enjoy helping people and showing them that many subjects are quite interesting once you understand them. I also don't mind having to re-explain things 5x if you don't understand and will explain this in as many ways as possible to make it clearer.

My name is Elisa Kruijt, I have just completed VWO cum laude and I now have three years of experience in tutoring several students, varying from two months to two years per student. All tutoring took place online for nine months. During my tutoring sessions I explain the material where necessary, but I mainly ask a lot of questions to make the student think for themselves. So far I have only had positive reactions to this.
My goal is to ensure that students understand the material rather than just making sure that the material can be reproduced. This generally makes it easier for students to understand and learn in the future.
My lessons generally have a length of 60 minutes (this can be adjusted in consultation, but a minimum of 45 minutes and a maximum of 120 minutes)
My lessons are intended for pre-university and HAVO students. I tutor these students in chemistry, physics, mathematics A and/or mathematics B. I can also tutor the 4th and 5th grade Mathematics D if the school uses the "getal en ruimte" books. (In Mathematics D there is a big difference in material between the methods.)

Elisa is een rustig en zeer betrouwbare hulp. Ze neemt erg de tijd om stof op een duidelijke en behapbare manier uit te leggen en heeft veel geduld. Ze is daarnaast ook erg goed in het motiveren en optimistische bieden van hulp voor mensen die minder vertrouwen hebben in hun eigen kunnen. Verder is Elisa een erg spontane hulp en erg flexibel wat erg fijn is voor het inplannen van data!
