About Alfonso

I am 22 years old, I graduated with honors in Aerospace Engineering at Sapienza University of Rome, and I am currently enrolled in the second year of the Master's Degree in Aeronautical Engineering. Previously, I attended the Liceo Scientifico Vito Volterra in Ciampino, graduating with full marks. For a long time, therefore, scientific disciplines have been my daily bread, and I try to impart to the students the same approach to study that has led me to obtain excellent results so far. In the last four years I have followed several students, mainly from scientific high school but also from other addresses, both in mathematics and in physics. Since I am also very young, it has always been easy for me to establish a direct and friendly relationship with the children, making the lesson hours as pleasant and productive as possible. I do my best for every student, and seeing them succeed thanks to my help has always been a source of great satisfaction for me.

About the lesson

My teaching method consists in trying to make the intrinsic problems of mathematics and physics understand in depth, with the necessary method and rigor, avoiding a notional approach. For me it is in fact essential that the student acquires a critical and autonomous study method, capable of understanding the motivations behind each logical step. As a graduate student in Aerospace Engineering, I am familiar with the kind of difficulty kids face in studying these subjects. The lessons are customized according to the student and his level of preparation. Generally, each topic of both mathematics and physics is first studied in depth from a theoretical point of view, and only after having acquired the fundamental concepts do you move on to tackle the exercises. I want the student to be able to solve problems on his own, as he will have to do in a class test or a question, thanks to a deep understanding of the topics. I am available both for interactive online lessons on free platforms (for example Google Meet), and at the students' home. For online lessons I plan to write on a sheet that will be projected on the PC screen, a consolidated technique by taking university exams online in this period of Covid emergency.

Perfect! Ragazzo veramente in gamba, simpatico e decisamente molto preparato! Mi ha aiutato a comprendere in modo più chiaro e semplice la matematica e la fisica, è sempre disponibile al chiarimento di eventuali dubbi ed in grado di farsi comprendere facilmente durante le spiegazioni. Ho conosciuto Alfonso nel settembre 2021...all'epoca frequentavo il quarto liceo e avevo bisogno di un aiuto con Fisica. La cosa più importante che mi ha trasmesso è stata il metodo di studio e l'approccio alla materia, il soffermarsi sul perché e poi sul come funzionano determinati fenomeni e determinate leggi fisiche.
Vi consiglio Alfonso perché è stato in grado di farmi riflettere sulle cause e sugli effetti della materia e non semplicemente sul risolvere un mero esercizietto da libro...questa è la cosa fondamentale.
