About Farzin

I hold a Master of Science in Computer Science from Western Governors University, where I specialized in AI Optimization. I also earned the AWS Certified Machine Learning certification, which means I know how to make technology work in the real world, not just in a textbook.

I started my career building the skills to solve hard problems, and I've spent years learning how to communicate those skills to others. I work in AI and software engineering - I write code, deploy systems, and solve problems every day. That's the experience I bring to every tutoring session.

I'm patient, I speak plainly, and I don't judge where you're starting from. Some of the best engineers I know struggled with the basics at first. What matters is whether you keep going.

I also run a structured personal development system called Life OS, which gives me discipline and clarity in how I approach learning and teaching. I bring that same structure to my lessons without the jargon.

About the lesson

I don't just teach formulas - I teach thinking. My approach is to sit next to you, understand where you're stuck, and find the missing connection. I believe no one is bad at math or coding - they just had a gap that no one helped them bridge. I break problems into tiny pieces and build them back up together with you until it clicks.

A typical lesson starts with me asking "what's been confusing you this week?" or "show me what you're working on." We spend 5-10 minutes on that warm-up. Then I introduce the new topic using a real example - not abstract theory, but something you can see and touch. You solve one alongside me, then I hand it to you. We finish with a quick recap and one thing to practice before next time.

What sets me apart: I have an MSc in Computer Science from WGU (AI Optimization track) and I've worked on real production systems - not just homework problems. I also hold an AWS Machine Learning certification, so I can teach you things that actually matter in a real engineering career, not just what's on the test. I understand both sides: I've been the student who struggled, and I've been the engineer shipping code.

My lessons are for middle school through college students. I teach math (algebra through calculus), programming (Python, Java, web development), test prep, and computer science fundamentals.
