About Ikebek

Ikebek has more than 4 years of experience in tutoring high school students in Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology. During his undergraduate studies, Ikebek enjoyed explaining scientific concepts to his classmates and group members during group discussions and projects. Ikebek attained a Bachelor of Science honors degree in Biochemistry and Mathematical Sciences from the University of Guelph.

About the lesson

The basis is to help students think about the relevance of a particular topic/or concept and do applicable examples that deepen the understanding of the subject better. Moreover, encouraging students to understand why an answer is correct and how to apply the same knowledge to other similar problems has been part of my tutoring methodology. Lastly, the best advice is to practice, practice, and practice as much as possible!!!

Hetvi did a great job on quickly grasping the concept and asking thoughtful questions when something wasn’t clear. Her ability to understand what she needed help for and seek clarification when needed shows strong problem-solving skills and a genuine desire to learn.
