About Cecilia
As you know, my name is Cecilia. I am 20 years old and I have started teaching 3 years ago. Something that I love about teaching is the joy and satisfaction that invade you when you see that the student has understood what you have explained. But it is even more satisfying to see them enjoy music. My goal is always the improvement and enjoyment of music. Let's learn about this wonderful art in the most entertaining way, and the breakthrough will come effortlessly.

In my classes I always look for the student to feel interest and curiosity for music.
In my piano classes, I combine technique and musicality using piano exercises in which the student develops both their piano level and their musical creativity. I care about the student's musical needs and interests and adapt the materials we use to these interests, always striving for a balance between student comfort and improving their level. I find it interesting to explore many subtypes of music, so we work with classical, folk, jazz, and genres of music that the student likes, so that they can also approach to them through piano.
In musical language we work on music theory, musical creativity (composition), develop the musical ear, and elemental analysis.
For the first one, until now I have used the textbook @Nuevos cuadernos de teoría" by Ibáñez-Cursá Real Musical publishing house.
For creativity and hearing, I teach the students to compose in a simple and fun way. I teach them to recognize different sounds or rhythms in music, to the point where they are able to hear a melody and recognize what is happening in it (notes and musical figures used).
I insist, I always I worry that the lesson adapts to what the student wants to learn about music to perfectly cover his interests.
