About Feriel
I'm a graduate, I have been giving private lessons for 2 years, I taught individual and group lessons. Some of my students learn English purely for pleasure as they are living in an English-speaking country; some aim to help their children with their English homework from school. Others want to develop their communication ability with their English-speaking family members, friends, or colleagues. The success for me is when a lesson where my students are fully involved, listening, and interacting with me and each other regarding the material presented. I plan my lessons to be thought-provoking and fun at the same time because I believe that students want to have fun and that they learn more effectively when learning is a pleasure, not a chore. I try to implement this concept into each lesson to the best of my abilities. The true measure of a good lesson, however, is when I can look at tests and quizzes on the material and see a good level of understanding and comprehension on the student’s part.

I was assigned to a classroom that was made up of children 4 to 10 years old, and found them quite fascinating. I think these are the perfect ages. Students of these ages have an open mind and are more open to learning than older children. My teaching method, I believe that the English Language can be mastered more meaningfully when utilizing sounds, patterns, gestures, symbols, and blend multimedia in everyday lessons.
