I am here to help you, and want you to feel comfortable in your learning. Let's have fun, but also prioritize our responsibility as a learner. I used to be a teacher of 7th, 8th, 10th, and 11th grade students, and feel equipped to help students of all ages. I am really looking forward to working with you!

History goes beyond dates. It is a story, a connection. When you learn about history with me, you won't just be learning about names and dates. You will be learning about people, and stories. That is the relevant lesson from history. The choices people made a hundred years ago matter just as much as the choices you make today.
My lessons are geared towards middle school and high school students, as I have experience with both. I also have experience teaching AP/Honors level classrooms, as well as students with learning disabilities (ADD, ADHD, EBD, Dyslexia). I have found joy in teaching students of all levels, and backgrounds. Teaching is fun, and the connections I make with my students is rewarding.
