About Swarom

My name is Swarom Kanvinde. I just graduated from Shenton College with an ATAR of 98.3, studying Bachelor of Engineering (Honors) and Bachelor of Commerce at UWA under an Engineering Excellence Scholarship. I also achieved a 92nd percentile UCAT score of 2350, as well as a band 4 CASPer score. I have had past experiences tutoring my younger brother and I found a genuine passion and enjoyment out of doing so. I realized it was something I want to do on a larger scale by tutoring more students and helping them get the results they desire. I have spent time gathering comprehensive notes and making questions with solutions to help students both understand the topics and know what to write come test day. I want my students to have access to more resources than I did and achieve even better than what I have.

About the lesson

I am a fun and caring tutor who feels confident in doing what is best for their students. My sessions will be focused on targeting the strengths and weaknesses each student has with a topic. They will be given access to detailed and comprehensive notes that will outline all aspects of the topic that will help sustain the marks you need. Extensive question banks will be provided each week along with worked solutions that explain the reasoning behind the answers. I believe that as a tutor, explaining the 'why' behind an answer is the best way for students to learn effectively and tackle even the hardest of questions. I want to ensure the students don't dread tutoring lessons with me, but rather look forward to the opportunity of learning in a way that brings the best out of them, without feeling scared to express themselves. I believe tutoring is a 2-way road. Lessons can be from 1 - 1.5 hours based on the student's wishes.
